Overview
Window Supply Company approached Inspire with a clear ambition: to scale their trade customer base and grow their presence beyond their Scottish roots. When they came to us they were operating just five branches and generating fewer than 10 monthly trade leads, a solid foundation but far short of their potential. Local branch visibility was underdeveloped and national brand authority had not been established, so they were largely invisible to the trade customers actively searching for their services.
Problems
- Limited local visibility. With no optimised Google Business Profiles or geo-targeted content, individual branches failed to appear in local searches, sending high-intent trade customers to competitors instead.
- Weak national brand presence. The website lacked the technical performance and backlink authority needed to rank for competitive industry terms like window manufacturer or window supplier.
- Low lead volume. Despite a quality product and a growing branch network, inbound trade enquiries stayed in single figures each month, making sustainable growth difficult.
Solution
We implemented a dual SEO strategy targeting local branch visibility and national brand authority at the same time. At the local level we built and optimised Google Business Profiles for each branch, created geo-targeted landing pages, deployed Local Business schema, and established a review and citation system to build trust and improve rankings across each location. On the national side we enhanced the technical performance of the website, developed content targeting high-intent search terms, and secured backlinks from industry-relevant domains to strengthen overall authority.
